Students Work in Adobe Express
West students are practicing their graphic design skills in Adobe Express. They used the layers tool to make their own digital sandwiches. Cullen Crabtree, a sophomore studying business foundations, got creative and made a sandwich with a frog, a flying pig, and an alligator.

West Graduate Researches Genetics with Ohio State
Sydney Lopez Gomez, a 2025 West graduate, started at Ohio State University this semester, but this was not Syd's first time on the buckeye campus. Sydney was one of 3 West students that spent the summer researching genetics at Ohio State.

Students and Staff Join Community Member on Neighborhood Walk
On Wednesday, March 19, Move Together Columbus kicked off their inaugural walk with Columbus City Schools at West High School. Food Frenzy! SLC Students Deliver Snacks
Each day, Lauren Johnston, an intervention specialist at West, and a group of her students load up their Food Frenzy snack cart with chips, drinks, popcorn, cookies, and more. They bring the cart around the building to fulfill staff orders. Learn more here.

This year’s results from the latest Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) Report Card give Columbus Alternative High School 4.5-Stars, with five schools getting 4-Stars, 10 schools getting 3.5-Stars and 25 schools getting 3-Stars, attended by a total enrollment of 17,985 students.
