• Our Family Ambassador for the 2024-2025 school year, for the seventh school season is Gina Shimer. The goal of Family Ambassador is to act as a liaison between the families of Binns Elementary and the school and staff as well as our district and Region 1 (Westside CCS Schools). We are hopeful that this school year you will see that our students are on track and excelling in their academics! We have implemented some additional intervention for all of our students and will continue to do the same this year! We are excited for a GREAT and FUN year!

    Hello to all of you! I look forward to another wonderful year with each of our families. This year I am hopeful to do some repeat of last years activities that you all enjoyed, with some new ones sprinkled throughout! I am excited for the opportunity to assist you and help you as we journey together. Our goal as a school is to plan activities that allow you to see into the daily life of your student and engage with them and learn tips, tools and strategies to implement at home to continue the learning process. I look forward to meeting new families and seeing our returning families. You make my job and this school the BEST!!

    Please always remember that I am here to help in any way that I can. I have 1 student at Binns (1st grade) and 2 at Wedgewood (6th and 7th grade) and now my oldest is in High School. So I am in it with you! I understand what you are experiencing and feeling and the questions you may have. So know I am always here for YOU and YOUR student!! Reach out if you need anything and do not hesitate to contact me at anytime. I am excited for this year and know that with your support our students will rise up and succeed and acheive more! I can not wait to see their success and our success as families!
