Student Materials Drop-Off and Return Procedures
The following schedule has been created for students to return any items owned by the school (textbooks, instruments, library books, etc.), as well as pick up any items left in their assigned locker. All items are being collected from students’ lockers and secured in bags by CAHS staff. All students in grades 9 through 11 are able to keep their Chromebooks for summer assignments. Seniors must return all items (including Chromebooks) and pay outstanding fees(this does not include Senior Dues) before Diplomas will be released. During the times below students and families will be able to retrieve their belongings and return school items. We asked that all vehicles will enter the large CAHS parking lot. All students and family members are asked to remain in their vehicles during the return and pick up process in order to maximize the safety of our community members.
At the CAHS doors, cars will be greeted by a staff member. At this location, families will hand off any items to be returned. If the student has an instrument to pick up, they will provide that information to the staff member who will retrieve their item. If the family also has items to pick up from their locker, they will also give their information to the staff member to have their items pulled. At that time they will proceed to the Cafeteria/Gymnasium entry doors where a staff member will deliver their items to the car. We are asking each parent to have your student check their CCS email account over the summer. Students who still need to return textbooks will have an email message with the name of the textbooks that is missing. If the textbook is lost, the cost of the textbook is included in each student’s email. Students will need to pay for any lost textbooks using the parent portal in Infinite Campus.
