My name is Annette Tooman and I am the principal at Lindbergh Elementary School. I absolutely LOVE working at Lindbergh and for Columbus City Schools! Lindbergh Elementary School proudly serves approximately 300 PreK-5 grade students and families in the Hilltop in Columbus, Ohio. Our vision at Lindbergh is to “Prepare children for tomorrow!”. I believe this, with my whole heart! I believe it is our job, as educators, to prepare children academically as well as socially and emotionally for tomorrow. I believe that EVERY CHILD can learn and be successful when given the right opportunity. I believe that when parents come alongside of their child’s school, there is no end to what students can accomplish. Whether you are a current Lindbergh parent or you are considering Lindbergh as a school for your child, you will find that we are a great place where children learn and grow! We have high expectations for our students academically, as well as, behaviorally. Our school motto is to: “Be Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind”. We recognize students monthly as a “Cub of the Month” who have demonstrated a variety of character traits, such as being Respectful, Responsible, Self-Disciplined and more! We have family events; Pastries with Parents, KISS Days (Kids Invite Someone Special) and a Winter Prince/Princess Ball! We also meet as a school family on Wednesday mornings to celebrate students and have various assemblies. As the principal, I want you to know that we take very seriously our vision, “Preparing children for tomorrow!”. Won’t you come alongside us to encourage and cheer for your children to become the very best they can! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at school. Here’s to a great year!
