Liberty Limelight for February: Mrs. Root and Ms. Pasini

Congratulations to Mrs. Root and Ms. Pasini, Liberty’s Limelights for the month of February!

o Mrs. Root has been teaching at Liberty for 8 years! When asked what she enjoys most about teaching, her response was, “I love watching the students grow and learn throughout the year. I learn from my students as much as they learn from me. I enjoy finding new projects and programs to introduce to my students that make learning fun!” Mrs. Root is a natural leader. In addition to seeking out research based best practices to engage students, she has 100% embraced virtual learning, transitioned smoothly to in person learning, and has found a calming way to make this new way of learning smooth and engaging for students. Thank you Mrs. Root for being a team leader and influencer. Your dedication to your students and the Liberty Community has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do!

o Ms. Pasini is new to Liberty and new to CCS this year! When asked what she loves most about being a social worker, she says, “I love being a school social worker because I am able to connect and work with a variety of individuals: parents, students, and staff members. I learn new ways of looking at life, about who I am as a person, and how I can change the community around me. Every day is different and I love the challenges and purpose it gives me!” Ms. Pasini has transitioned to CCS effortlessly, quickly learned her role, and instantly began supporting our students, staff and families. Not to mention, she did all of this during a pandemic! Her role as a social worker sometimes lend itself to wearing many hats. She wears those hats well, being timely and efficient in supporting and communicating with our stakeholders. Ms. Pasini, we value you and the role you play in helping us to connect with our families to address their academic and non-academic needs. Your dedication to our Liberty Community has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do!
