Liberty Limelight for March: Ms. Berkley, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Hammond
Congratulations to Ms. Berkley, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Hammond, Liberty’s LimeLights for the month of March!
o Mrs. Smith, Instructional Assistant, has been at Liberty for 10 years! When asked what she enjoys most about teaching, she says, “I enjoy watching all students grow through their emotional, social, and academic capabilities. I enjoy seeing all of their growth through learning. Watching them get excited about learning is the highlight of my job! I like interacting with the students and teaching them how to read. The students coming to school with excitement and smiles on their faces ready to learn makes my day. I love to help with teaching at Liberty, where students are Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind! Go liberty Lions!” Mrs. Smith, THANK YOU for all that you do each and every day to help our students shine!
o Ms. Berkley, 2nd Grade Teacher, is no stranger to Liberty. This is her first year as a teacher, but has served in different capacities a few years back. When asked what she enjoys most about teaching, she says, “I love inspiring kids to think differently; to explore the world by making an environment in which their eyes are opened to something beyond their imagination. And when they start to explore? The joy that they have then is all that I’ve ever dreamed of as an educator.” Ms. Berkley, we are glad to have you rejoin the Liberty family. THANK YOU for all that you do to help our students succeed.
o Mrs. Hammond, Instructional Coach, has been at Liberty for 7years! When asked what she enjoys most about coaching, she says, “My role as an instructional coach is special because I get to work with students and staff. I love helping students and staff by challenging their thinking and helping them become the best that they can be. One of the things I most enjoy is the relationships I have built within our Liberty family. Mrs. Hammond, THANK YOU for all that you do each and every day to support our students and staff!
