City League Stars showcases CCS' outstanding student-athletes and their collegiate goals.

Leila Carter, class of 2026, is a true freshman who starts on the varsity basketball team at Columbus International High School. The freshman sensation averaged 27 points and 13 rebounds per game this season, which are outstanding numbers for any level of basketball.

Coach LeAnthony Jones has really enjoyed coaching Leila this year. He loves her leadership on the court, and he loves how she contributes to the growth of her teammates.

Leila has goals to win City League Championships. She also wants to be one of the top scoring leaders in The Columbus City League.
