Senior Pictures
Please use the following guidelines when submitting a picture for the yearbook and the Senior Slide show. Graduation is a formal event and the purpose of the senior picture is to present the student to the world in a manner similar to the professional photos on various websites of people that work at a business or educational institution. Therefore, the senior picture should be a professional-looking digital picture in color that includes your whole head, with both eyes visible and has not been distorted in any way. The setting should be either an outdoor or professional-looking setting, not behind the steering wheel of a car or something taken inside your house. Additionally, the picture needs to include your whole head and has not been distorted in any way. Since it is a portrait, there cannot be anyone else in the picture and no props, pets etc. Students are to follow all school rules, including the dress code in the portrait. The setting should be either an outdoor or professional-looking setting, (not behind the steering wheel of a car or something taken inside your house). If the picture is too dark, or does not follow these guidelines, then it will not be used, and your most recent school picture will be used instead. Your picture will also be used in the yearbook and presented as a portrait (vertically aligned photo). We reserve the right to zoom in on full body photos. Plans and photos may also be emailed to Mr. Leatherwood at dleather@columbus.k12.oh.us or submitted on this form: Senior Photo and Plans. Please submit your photo by May 23rd at 3pm.
