The full tuition scholarship to Columbus State (the Columbus Promise) opened up for the class of 2023 in December 2022. To encourage students to apply for this amazing opportunity and further market the application steps, CCS in partnership with I Know I Can will be hosting an event at every CCS high school. The time for the Centennial program is Tuesday, January 31st from 10am to 11am. All seniors are required to attend this event.

There will be popcorn, raffles, and multiple speakers for students to meet. Seniors will be in the auditorium for the duration of the program. We will make an announcement to send seniors to the auditorium around 9:55. When the program ends, seniors will be dismissed to their 5th period class. The link for completing the application is at https://cbuspromise.com/apply/ which will direct students to the I Know I Can portal to complete the process.

In addition to this event, Ms. Bassett will be hosting a Columbus State/Columbus Promise application workshop on Monday, February 6th during class periods.

Diploma Presentation --- We make every effort to allow our students to personalize their graduation experience by choosing a Centennial staff member (from all four years of high school, including office staff) to award them their diploma.  If you do not select anyone then Ms. Porta will award you your diploma.

You should ask the Centennial staff member if they would be willing to give you your diploma at graduation.  You may have a back up presenter in case a situation arises and the staff member is unavailable. Please indicate who you would like to present your diploma by filling out the following Google form. https://forms.gle/etDzds1fbvUwiWHX8
