Join us for the Annual World Refugee Day Celebration, a vibrant, family-friendly event hosted by Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services (ETSS) in proud partnership with the North YMCA. This celebration honors the strength, resilience, and diverse cultures of refugee and immigrant communities in Central Ohio.
The event features a dynamic mix of activities and resources for all ages, including:

Community Resource Fair – Connect with local nonprofits, service providers, and government agencies offering support in housing, legal aid, food access, education, and more.

Mini Job Fair – Meet employers and workforce organizations with on-site application opportunities and career guidance.

Health & Wellness Zone – Access free health screenings, mental health information, and wellness resources provided by local clinics and partners.

Children’s Activity Corner – Enjoy games, crafts, face painting, story time, and culturally inclusive activities designed for kids and families.

Live Performances – Experience the rich traditions of music and dance from around the world, with local refugee and immigrant artists taking the stage.

Art Exhibits & Interactive Workshops – Explore visual art displays that tell powerful stories of displacement, belonging, and hope.
Whether you're a newcomer, neighbor, or long-time community ally, World Refugee Day offers a space to learn, celebrate, and stand in solidarity. Admission is free and open to the public.
