This is a 9-week program that focuses on behavior, decision-making, leadership, goal-setting, identity, family dynamics and vision for the future. Each workshop has been uniquely tailored to Medina Middle School's student population, as well as different learning styles such as social, logical, visual, auditory, physical, verbal and solitary are used in group settings to ensure each student is being taught in a way that is conducive to each group members.
How do the workshops help with comprehension?
-By targeting the different learning styles, each method helps the young men take in information through interactive activities. This will, in turn, help regulate emotions, so young men can concentrate better in school, display behavior changes in the community and improve grades.
