February 22, 2023 – Congratulations to the more than two dozen students advancing to the Business Professionals of America (BPA) state competition in March.
More than 65 students attending Fort Hayes Career Center and Columbus Downtown High School put their business skills to the test during the BPA Regional Leadership Competition on Friday, January 27. Twenty-six students qualified for the state competition, while nearly 40 students placed in various categories, including Business Law and Ethics, Fundamental of Desktop Publishing, Podcasting Production, and Interviewing Skills.
Business Professionals of America helps prepare students for careers in today’s modern business world and the opportunity to pursue business-related interests. Through BPA, students compete at the regional, state, and national levels in more than 50 Workplace Skills Assessment Program events, engage in community and leadership service activities and meet business students across the state and country.
Congratulations to all the students who competed and to those students moving on to the BPA State Leadership competition March 9-10 in Columbus.
