Poindexter Village Windows of Stories 2021-2022 Youth Art Challenge Now Open
October 27, 2021 -- Calling all Columbus City Schools K-12 students!
The James Preston Poindexter Foundation and Ohio History Connection are inviting K-12 CCS students to participate in an historical art project. The project will enable students to create art works for windows in the first African American Museum and Cultural Center located in Poindexter Village. Students can work alone or collaborate with their art teachers to support their efforts.
The project will award winning students with monetary cash prizes and support the efforts of students who need it with art kits. A limited number of art kits containing a canvas, paint and brushes are available. Contact Bettye Stull for art kits (students that need them: stullbettye@gmail.com
