• Governor DeWine’s announcement about Students with Special Needs

As you may have heard, Gov. DeWine shared a new initiative called Learning Aid Ohio.  Learning Aid Ohio aims to provide supplemental learning support for students with IEPs during this unique school year.

How does it work for families?

Parents can browse the list of learning providers to find the assistance they need for their family for free. According to the website, all of the learning providers have completed background checks, and are willing and able to offer supplemental support during this unprecedented time.

Parents must fill out an application and be approved by DSACO to begin services.

    To Apply:

    • Parents must be an Ohio resident.

    • Their child must be learning full-time remotely.

    • Their child must be on an IEP during the 2020-2021 school year.

    • They must be experiencing financial hardship.
