VOICES Student Panel
At the beginning of each school year, 4th and 5th graders may submit an application to serve on the VOICES committee as one of 10-14 representatives for the student body. VOICES members meet with Principal Horstman monthly and are responsible for helping plan several school events each year, including Spirit Weeks, Movie Night, and food drives such as the Soup-er Bowl of Caring and We Before Me. They also help gather input from the student body when it comes to playground/recess equipment purchases made by the PTA, such as new basketball hoops and soccer goals.
4th & 5th Grade Camp
Each spring, our 4th & 5th graders are given the opportunity to participate in a 3-day wilderness camp experience. Students enjoy educational and recreational activities while away. Fundraisers and PTA contributions assist in reducing the cost of camp.
