    Military Drill

Military drill is a vital component of Army JROTC.  Cadets learn to execute marching skills with and without rifles.

Cadets have the opportunity to represent their school at state and regional competitions as well as advancing to the National High School Drill Team Championship.

The National High School Drill Team Championship is a 3-day, all-service Drill & Ceremony competition for JROTC Cadets. The event has been held since 1982 and U.S. Army Cadet Command became the official sponsor in 1988. The competition takes place in Daytona Beach, Florida.

    Color Guard

As part of military drill and competitions, Cadets can become members of the school’s Color Guard.

The Color Guard presents the flag at football games, basketball games and various other community events.
