A Message From the Office of
Paul J. Bailey, Principal
Woodward Park Middle School
& WP @ Walden (Grade 6)
November 28, 2021
Good Evening Woodard Park Family. This is Paul Bailey, the Proud Principal of Woodward Park calling with this week’s announcements and highlights. I sincerely hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with friends and family to express gratitude. Gratefulness for family, friends, and what ever else everyone may be personally grateful for.
Parents, students had work posted in their teacher’s google classroom they were to complete on Monday, Nov 22 and Tuesday Nov 23. Upon our return tomorrow students must be able to demonstrate completion of those assignments in order to be counted as present on Nov 22 & 23. We do realize that some students may not have a chromebook yet or the one that is assigned to them is not working. We highly recommend that those students come to Mastery Academy on Tuesday or Thursday this week in order to get those assignments completed.
The next three weeks before winter break will be extremely busy as we have Mastery Academy, which is after school tutoring and Robotics Club on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s Our Boys Basketball & Cheer Team have games on Monday & Wednesday and practice on Tues/Thursday. As we enter the 5th week of the 2nd nine weeks and we encourage our students to stay focused on their academics and positive behavior, especially as we enter the season on peace, love and joy. Let us reflect peace, love and joy to all those we encounter.
Finally, parents I am grateful to you, our partners in education. Thank you for the over 250 families who attended our virtual parent teacher conference nights. Thank you for supporting our vision where each student performs at or above grade level by June 2022. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow as we begin the three week push towards winter break. Thank you and have a great evening.
