Columbus City Schools has distributed approximately 136,938 free breakfast and lunch meals since the Governor’s order to close all Pre-K through 12 schools throughout the state. The District’s Director of Food Services, Joe Brown, provides an overview of the 15 decentralized meal service sites district-wide along with information about the CCS partnership with Mid-Ohio Food Bank and Columbus Recreation and Parks to offer rotating mobile produce markets at multiple meal sites on a weekly basis.
