    Lisa Bycynski

    Ms. Bycynski earned a B.S. in Computer and Information Science and M.A. in Education from The Ohio State University.  She also attended Ohio Dominican for her teacher certification in Computer Science. She is licensed to teach Computer Science(7-12) and Information Systems and Support. She began teaching in 1999 and joined Whetstone in 2012. She teaches Web Design and the two year Credits Count dual enrollment computer science program.  She has 14 years of experience in software development primarily at IBM and CompuServe companies.

    Elliot Dobelle

    Mr. Dobelle graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Education, focused on Technical Education and Training and MEd in Workforce Development and Education. He began his teaching career in 2006 and came to Whetstone in 2015. He teaches MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Exploring Computer Science at Whetstone. He worked as an Emergency Medical Technician while getting his master's degree.

    Gary Thomas

    Mr. Gary Thomas graduated from Aurora University with a B.A. in Computer Science / Business Administration, M.S. in Information Systems Management, and a M.A. in Education. In addition, he obtained a M.S. certificate in Program Management. He started with Columbus City Schools in 2003 and joined the Whetstone staff in 2019. Prior to joining Whetstone Mr. Thomas taught MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Project Lead the Way (PLTW), and College Credit Plus (Columbus State). Mr. Thomas worked for AT&T Bell Laboratories / Lucent Technologies in software development, customer technical support, and wireless technology as a Department Head.
