Brave the Future 2021

  • Brave the Future is an annual event that introduces Whetstone High School to prospective students and their families. While the event is geared towards 7th and 8th grade students and their families, all community members are invited and welcome to participate.

New this year – Brave the Future will be virtual! This free event will be hosted here on the Whetstone High School website. Please plan to join us on Monday, January 11th, starting at 6:00 p.m. You must register at (search for “Brave the Future 2021”) to receive an email the week of the event with Zoom passwords.

Brave the Future will help prospective students and families learn about the many opportunities and academic offerings at this strong, vibrant neighborhood high school. The event will include live online sessions and online resources.

Current WHS students will share their experiences in Whetstone’s programs in music, theatre, athletics, journalism, visual arts, and more. Families will have the opportunity to learn about freshmen academic and course planning from WHS counselors. In addition, families may access a video tour of the building, introductions to academic departments and faculty, and information on athletics and activities at Whetstone.

Select “Participate in Brave the Future 2021” to access live sessions and online resources. Recordings of live sessions will be posted as soon as possible.
