Vocal Ensemble

Course Description:

Vocal (Mixed) Ensemble students will perform a wide variety of music and musical styles, ranging from popular to classical music. This group is composed of outstanding vocal students with advanced choral experience. Members should display a high degree of musical knowledge, technical skill, and sensitivity. This ensemble will perform frequently throughout the community. This course is repeatable.

Students in this ensemble should be willing and able to perform outside of the school day at least twice per semester. Past performances have included quarterly concerts, Clintonville Rotary Tree Lighting, singing the "Snow Chorus" for BalletMet's The Nutcracker, and the Clintonville Community Choral Festival. The ensemble travelled to Florida in 2019 where they performed at Walt Disney World. They will be travelling to perform in Chicago in Spring of 2022.

Prerequisite: Mixed Chorus 1, and recommendation by the teacher or audition.
