    May 1 - Online Registration opens for Elementary and Middle School.

    June 3 - Registration opens for 3rd-grade students who have met the Third Grade Reading Guarantee Requirement.

    June 3 - Online Registration opens for High School. 

    Summer School at Columbus City Schools provides many benefits to students during the summer months including:

  • 2019 Summer School Dates

    All Summer School sessions begin June 

    Elementary Schools

    • 5 weeks
    • Monday through Thursday
    • Half and Full-day programs
    • June 19 - July 25

    Middle Schools

    • 5 weeks
    • Monday through Thursday
    • June 19 - July 25

    High Schools

    • 6 weeks
    • Monday through Friday
    • Traditional and VCAP
    • June 17 - July 26


  • Summer School Costs

    Summer School is free for Columbus City Schools Elementary students, Middle School students, and summer graduates.

    High School students cost is $100

    • Students register for maximum of 2 courses
    • Each school receives vouchers for students with financial hardships

    Non-Columbus City Schools resident cost is $300 for traditional and VCAP courses
