Thank you for your patience as we have updated our spring testing schedule.  Because of COVID, our testing capacity is limited; therefore, we will be testing students following the NNAT/CogAT testing window with individual testing set to resume the week of March 1, 2021.  For the health and safety of our personnel and students, testing will occur at either 3700 S. High St. or Columbus Gifted Academy from March 1 – April 30, 2021.

For elementary students in the blended learning model, parents can schedule testing on a student’s click day.  We want students to maximize their time in class on their brick days.  For those parents who have already submitted permission for assessment forms to the GT office, you will be contacted via email to schedule individual testing for your student.

  • On Tuesday, Dr. Dixon shared recommendations with the school board regarding reopening school in the fall of 2020.  We know there are many questions about a variety of topics, including how gifted services fit into that plan.  While we do not have answers to all questions, we have compiled a document with information that we can provide at this time.  Please find a summary of that information and FAQs here.  This document will be updated as more information is available and as the reopening evolves based on state and federal guidelines and other factors.  We know this information is crucial for you as you make choices about schooling for your learner for the fall.  We hope this provides information to help you with that decision.
