Why do I need to create an account on POINT to volunteer?

Columbus City Schools partners with POINT to give our staff the opportunity to volunteer with over 300 local nonprofits.
What is POINT?
POINT is a volunteer platform for any cause (think: education, animals, or homelessness).
Once you create your POINT account, you can sign up for volunteer opportunities from over 300 local nonprofits. When you tap “Go” to sign up for a volunteer opportunity, your info is instantly sent to the nonprofit coordinator. All you have to do is show up!
Your community impact, and Columbus City Schools’ collective impact, is tracked through POINT. You can use POINT as an app, on web, and on The Columbus City Schools website.
