June 11, 2025 -- Colerain Elementary is getting a new playground. Photos show demolition stage. Colerain will be getting our new standard playground with sensory activities, grade level tailored areas featuring new slides, climbing walls, and games for students.

Colerain Elementary is in the process of getting brand new windows and exterior doors. Old oxidated plexiglass windows are being replaced with brand-new glass windows. These new windows will allow for light to shine through and add to the energy efficiency of the school. New doors will expand on the safety of the building and give a refreshed look.

June 10, 2025 -- Indianola Informal K8’s exterior façade is undergoing an overhaul to restore the historic façade and structural integrity of the building. Workers are removing the mortar and cleaning the bricks in preparation for the new sealant and brick matching.

March 20, 2025 -- The gymnasium walls at North Linden Elementary Schools are painted black. A muralist will be coming over Spring Break to revamp the space for the school.
