Research shows that students who read at home daily for at least 20 minutes can increase language development, improve comprehension and critical thinking, develop global empathy, and strengthen family relationships.
Columbus City Schools is committed to empowering students to discover their love of reading and improving literacy skills across all grades. Thanks to support from a number of community partnerships, the District is giving PreK - 5 students books and novels to build at-home libraries and create even more access to tools for success in the classroom and their futures.
