Local libraries are gateways to literacy, resources and a host of opportunities, and our Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is no different. Each of its 23 locations offers access to books, digital tools and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The library also provides students and families with a number of tools to continue learning beyond the classroom.
Students in grades K-12 can get free help with schoolwork along with computers, school supplies and friendly staff and volunteers to help. Hours vary by location. Plus, online tutors are available for one-on-one help through HelpNow, which students can access through the library’s School Help webpage.
Listen to a free story from your phone! Children can hear stories to sharpen their listening and comprehension skills. Listen online or call 614-924-1800 any time of the day. New stories will be updated monthly!
Columbus City Schools Library Services is committed to bringing unique learning opportunities to our students, and we are pleased to introduce a new, free reading service providing digital books through Sora, the student reading app. This app gives students and teachers 24/7 access to thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks from the Digital Downloads Collaboration, of which Columbus Metropolitan Library is a member.
