In January 2021, the District adopted a revised Records Retention Schedule. The revised Schedule was developed by the Ohio History Connection and is the recommended template to be used by Ohio school districts. Please note that the numbering system has changed and there have also been changes to some record descriptions and retention periods. Please refer to the current Schedule in making any decisions regarding the storage or destruction of records. The revised Records Retention Schedule has also been provided to the Warehouse. The revised Schedule will be used when sending any new boxes to be maintained in storage. Please remember to also keep a copy of the previous Records Retention Schedule as that document will need to be referenced in retrieving any old boxes from the Warehouse that were maintained under the prior numbering system.
