About the Grant
The Wallace Foundation recently awarded Columbus City Schools an $8.2 million multi-year grant. The Equity-Centered Pipeline Initiative (ECPI) supports our district in developing and supporting a pipeline for highly effective school leaders while addressing equity-centered practices that directly impact student achievement.
Current and future principals will benefit from professional learning focusing on developing equity- centered school leaders to benefit all students.
Key Impacts
Columbus City Schools aims to create comprehensive, aligned principal pipelines that can develop and support equity-centered leaders within the district ecosystem.
This work will be carried out in alignment with our Portrait of a Graduate and our Strategic Plan Priority 3: Strong Learning Communities in Every Region: CCS will strengthen a high-quality, interdependent set of learning communities so that within and among these centers of growth are reliable sources of support, identity, and hope.
