City League Stars: William Putnam
August 5, 2024 -- William Putnam, Centennial High School class of 2024, finished his baseball career as a 4-year starter at catcher, catching over 60 innings his senior season. His leadership contributed to Centennial getting 2 wins over 12-time defending champs Whetstone, and ultimately helping lead Centennial to winning the City League Championship. Head Coach Patrick Nance says William called all the games this year, because he trusts his abilities, and he believes William has the skill to play baseball at the next level. The team captain and three-time All-City Athlete wants to have a career as a plumber or an electrician.
