There are nearly 40 Career-Technical Education programs available for students to explore their passions and interests. Students can get real-world experience today that lead to a successful career.
Career-Technical Education (CTE) programs are just the start to help students create their own path to success. Many students graduate and have an advantage when attending higher education programs at colleges and universities, and when gaining even more education and experience through internships and certifications.
CTE programs give you the chance to experience what you are interested in during the school day. Try out what you are interested in, and you can still make it to home, work or hanging out with your friends after school.

Career-Technical Programs are for students who are interested in getting a job immediately following high school graduation or for students who plan to attend college and seek employment after receiving their degree.
Information about the programs offered at each of these schools can be found on their individual pages to the left. These centers serve juniors and seniors. Sophomore students interested in applying for classes beginning in their junior year should see their Career and Community Resource Coordinator (CCRC) or Guidance Counselor at their home high school.

For more than 60 years, the Columbus City Schools Department of Adult & Community Education has been committed to providing programs for lifelong learning. Adult Workforce Education courses can be taken in Health Occupations, Skilled Trades, and Computer Applications. You can prepare to earn your high school equivalency by attending FREE CLASSES, and foreign born adults can learn to read, write, and speak English in our English for Speakers of Other Languages program.Classes are conveniently located at different sites throughout Franklin County.
