The Data Reporting & Analysis Team is responsible for validating and monitoring the data within the district’s data warehouse and managing the content in the Hoonuit dashboard, the portal to the data warehouse. Hoonuit allows staff to easily track overall student, school and district performance to drive decisions made in the classroom, school, region and district levels. Our responsibility is to ensure the data access in the portal is accurate, consistent and available for use.

The team manages the Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) which delivers geographical information for the purpose of providing Columbus City Schools boundary information in support of transportation services along with other requested geospatial information related to the district's regions and schools.

The Data Reporting & Analysis Team also processes thousands of internal and external data requests annually. Once a request is received and logged in CCSDAS, the system administrator assigns the request to an analyst who then completes the request within a minimum of three business days. In some instances, data requests are received that require a quicker turnaround.
