Commercial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR)

    Our 12-month, 600-hour, in-person program is a fast, affordable way to gain the skills you need to receive credentials in Commercial HVACR. 

    • Evening classes, Monday-Thursday 5:30 P.M.- 9:00 P.M.
    • All posted dates and times for course offerings are dependent upon sufficient staffing availability
    • Classes are held at Fort Hayes Career Center, 546 Jack Gibbs Blvd. Columbus, OH 43215.

    CERTIFICATIONS EARNED

    The following four HVAC Excellence Employment Ready Certifications- ESCO

    -Electrical (140 Hours)  

      Components, meter usage, safety, theory, troubleshooting, fundamentals of motors and capacitors, interpreting electrical  diagrams.

    -Gas Heat (140 Hours)     

      Combustion theory, electrical troubleshooting, furnace installation & service, furnace troubleshooting, heating safety, heating system & components.

    -Light Commercial Air Conditioning (180 Hours) 

      Commercial AC systems & components, equipment installation & service, refrigeration theory & application, troubleshooting.

    -System Diagnostics & Troubleshooting (140 Hours)

      Recovery requirements, AC&R Theory, air supply and delivery, AC&R equipment and tools, AC&R systems and components, system evacuation.

    OSHA 10 Certification

    EPA 608 Universal Certification 

    Low GWP A2L Certification

     

     

    Tuition
