Columbus School of Practical Nursing
Our 12-month Practical Nursing program in Columbus is a fast, affordable way to gain the nursing skills needed to work in the healthcare field.
- Convenient 12-month, daytime Practical Nursing program
- Students normally finish this program in 12 months, pending staffing levels
- STNA is NOT REQUIRED
- A long tradition of excellence in nursing education –67 years

Tuition
Our 12 month Practical Nursing Program is divided into three trimesters. Tuition is $18,000 for the full program. We accept all forms of financial aid and scholarships. Books and uniforms are not included in the tuition.

Our Entrance Exam

The HESI A2 Entrance Examination
Students must achieve a composite score of 75% on the HESI Entrance Exam in one exam session in order to qualify for admission to the Practical Nursing program.The required 75% score is an average of the following 4 sections of the examination:- Vocabulary and General Knowledge
- Grammar
- Math
- Reading Comprehension

Program Schedule
Class hours are 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on clinical days, when students will be required to be at their clinical site by 7 a.m. All posted dates and times for course offerings are dependent upon sufficient staffing availability.

Request for Advanced Standing (transfer credit)
Practical Nursing may award advanced standing to students who meet the requirements. Download the Request for Advanced Standing here. Please note that the request for advanced standing must be turned in along with a nursing application. Late submissions will not be considered.
