Important Staff Updates

  • This link will take you to the Columbus City Schools February 3 Professional Development home page.

    From this link, you will be able to identify sessions that align to your PD needs and classification.  If you have questions on how to navigate the site, use the “site navigation direction” link on the left hand side to access a tutorial video and written directions. 

    In addition,

    *The home page is a public facing webpage, no login credentials are required.

    *Elementary staff will receive their ELA / Math PD link through their building principal.

    *The PD page will be updated throughout the week with information and sessions that are not yet available from external vendors.

    *Staff will be receiving follow up emails from district administrators and TOSAs highlighting sessions that most directly impact their work.

  • CCS Private Wi-Fi: if you are having connectivity issues, all staff should be using the CCS Private Wifi. Contact your building tech with any questions about log in.

    PublicSchoolWORKS Online Training

    In an effort to provide efficient, specialized, online training, Columbus City Schools contracts with PublicSchoolWORKS to offer all staff access to electronic professional development opportunities. PublicSchoolWORKS provides more than 400 online training programs, including courses needed to fulfill state and federal mandates. District supervisors and principals determine which courses their staff will be required to take. Required courses can be completed during the work day. Staff are welcome to complete elective courses on their own. Check with your supervisor to see what courses you should be taking, or click here to get started.

    CCS User ID and Password

    If you are a CCS Employee and do not have an active CCS Email account, please click on this link - CCS User ID/Email Registration. You must use a CCS district computer. You will be asked to sign the District's Acceptable Use Policy. In order for District employees to be allowed access to a school computer system, computer network, and the Internet, they must read and sign the consent form.
