• K-12 DRAMA / THEATRE

Columbus City Schools believe that drama/theatre education fosters both artistic expression and important life skills.  Through the study and practice of this content, students engage in creative problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and self-reflection. These skills extend far beyond the stage into students' personal, academic, and professional lives. From a broader educational perspective, drama/theatre integrates seamlessly with other academic disciplines, enhancing literacy, history, and social studies through the exploration of texts, narratives, and social issues. It aligns with 21st-century learning goals by preparing students for a global workforce that values collaboration, adaptability, and innovation.
