• Enrollment for the 2025-2026 School Year

    Families must complete the Online Registration (OLR) for the 2025-2026 school year.  Online Registrations are completed in the order they are received, provided it is complete with all necessary enrollment documentation.  

    The enrollment process is NOT complete until you receive an email/phone call from an Enrollment Specialist regarding the school of enrollment and start date. 

    If the OLR is incomplete (ie. unacceptable enrollment documentation), a follow-up email and phone call will be made and the application will be returned for editing.  Once updated, the OLR will be placed back in the queue in the order received for processing.

    Enrollment for the 2026-2027 School Year

    • K-12 Online Registration can be completed for the 2026-2027 school year beginning on February 2, 2026.
      • Families must complete the 2026-2027 Online Registration to begin the enrollment process. Enrollment appointments are no longer required, but are available as an option.  The Online Registration applications will be processed in the order they are received, provided all necessary documentation is uploaded to the application.  Please take time to thoroughly review the necessary documents to ensure that your application is not delayed in processing.  
      • Families planning to submit a lottery application must have the Online Registration submitted with all necessary documents by  March 13th.  This will ensure that you have the Parent Portal activation code by the lottery deadline.

     

  • School Choice Dates to apply for the 2026-2027 School Year

    • General Lottery Applications (K-12): Accepted via the Parent Portal for the lottery draw Monday, February 2, 2026 through Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Late applications are added to the bottom of the waitlist in the date/time order of receipt. The last date for the acceptance of late lottery applications for students who complete the 2025-2026 school year with CCS is August 14, 2026. New students enrolling into Columbus City Schools can submit a lottery application for two weeks after their enrollment date until December 4, 2026.
    • Selective Admissions Applications:  Applications available to eligible students Wednesday, January 7, 2026 with a submission deadline of Friday, January 30, 2026. Applications must be submitted via the Parent Portal.
    • Request to Return to Homeschool Application: Accepted via the Parent Portal Monday, January 5, 2026.
    • Reservations: Accepted via the Parent Portal for eligible students from Monday, January 5, 2026, through Friday, January 30, 2026.
    • ROTC: Accepted via the Parent Portal Monday, February 2, 2026 through Friday, March 20, 2026.

    Learn about each of the schools at the Virtual School Choice Fairs

    There will be video presentations that give an overview of  each school uploaded to the website in early-January to view prior to the Fairs.  There will also be video conferencing links available. During the scheduled times for the Fair, families can click on the link and chat live with the principal and/or school staff.


    High School Fair - January 8, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

    Middle School Fair - January 8, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

    Elementary School Fair - February 5, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
