A TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) is an acquired injury to the brain caused by external physical force or other medical conditions such as stroke, anoxia, infectious disease, aneurysm, and brain tumors. A concussion is also a brain injury. Our Columbus City Schools TBI Project & School Based Management Program has compiled some helpful PDFs about these injuries.
For current information regarding TBI and concussion procedures go to the Google slides at TBI and Concussion Presentation
To find out who is the assigned TBI/Concussion school psychologist at a CCS school go to Assigned TBI/Concussion Team
