Dion Brown, CGAP

Dion is a Certified Government Audit Professional who has been working for the Office of Internal Audit of the Columbus City Schools since 2008.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central State University.  In addition to having knowledge in financial management, Dion has over 25 years of experience in both internal and external audits. 

In the years leading up to his employment with Columbus City Schools, he held the position of Fiscal Manager in the State of Ohio, Office of the Attorney General and the Franklin County – Office of Homeland Security & Justice Programs.  Additionally, he started his professional career working for the State of Ohio, Auditor of State. 

Dion is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
