Ohio's State Test for English Language Arts

The Ohio's State Test for English Language Arts (ELA) will provide information on students' understanding of Ohio's Learning Standards.There is no Safe Harbor for third grade students. Students are required to reach the promotion score on Ohio’s Grade 3 English Language Arts test unlessthey are exempt from retention based upon outlined provisions listed on Ohio's Third Grade Reading Guarantee.
